ANNA HANKOWSKA

A graduate of the Faculty of Fine Arts at Maria Sklodowska - Curie University in Lublin . A diploma in painting at Professor Styka`s  atelier . Deals with painting , ceramics and batik . Presented her works at both solo and collective exhibitions ( Warsaw , London , Zurich , Bialystok , Lublin and Kazimierz Dolny to name a few ).  Her works are featured in collections in Poland , Switzerland , Great Britain , Finland and France .

She`s currently focussing on abstracts , in which individualism and emotions are trapped in raw geometric form . She sometimes returns to still lifes and landscapes , which she approches in a slightly surrealist way .

The painter spends most of the year living in Warsaw .
